Nora was packing up her bag, ready to leave the classroom and head back to her hostel. As she stood up, she caught Kris’s eye. He had been sitting next to her for the past few lectures, but they had never really spoken before.”Hey, Nora,” Kris said tentatively. “I couldn’t help but notice that you seem a little lost in the programming lectures. Do you need any help?”Nora was taken aback by Kris’s offer of help.
She had been struggling with the programming assignments, and she couldn’t believe that Kris was willing to help her.”Really?” she said, her eyes lighting up. “That would be amazing. I’m completely lost when it comes to programming.”Kris grinned. “No problem. Just give me your number, and I’ll text you later. We can work on the homework together.”Nora hesitated for a moment, but then she gave Kris her number. As she walked out of the classroom, she couldn’t help but feel a little flutter of excitement in her chest.
She had never really talked to a guy like Kris before, and she was curious to see where this would lead. Later that night, Nora was nervously looking at her phone. She had been waiting for Kris’s text all day, but she wasn’t sure what to say when he finally reached out. When her phone finally buzzed, she jumped and startled.”Hey Nora, it’s Kris. Are you ready to work on the programming homework?”Nora took a deep breath and replied, “Yes, I’m ready. What do I need to do?”Over the next hour, Kris patiently walked Nora through the programming assignment, explaining each step in detail and answering all of her questions.
Nora felt a sense of relief as she finally started to understand the material.”Thanks so much for your help, Kris,” she said, feeling grateful. “I don’t know what I would have done without you.”Kris just smiled. “No problem. I’m always here to help. And who knows? Maybe we can work on some other assignments together in the future.”Over the next few days, Kris and Nora continued to work on their programming assignments together. They texted back and forth, sharing jokes and stories about their lives outside of class. Nora found herself looking forward to these conversations, and she started to feel a sense of excitement whenever she saw Kris in the lecture hall.
One day, as Nora was leaving the classroom, she noticed Kris and his friend walking behind her. She wondered if they were following her, but she didn’t want to seem paranoid. As she walked towards her hostel, she felt a sudden rush of fear when a strange boy approached her. When the strange boy approached Nora and asked for her name and course, she felt uncomfortable and nervous. She hoped that Kris would come to her aid, but he and his friend were still walking behind her at a distance.
As soon as Nora reached her hostel, she texted Kris and asked him why he didn’t help her. Kris was confused at first, but when Nora explained the situation, he felt terrible for not being there for her. He apologized to Nora and promised to always be there for her in the future.”I’m always here for you,” Kris replied. “I’ll never let anything happen to you again.”
